Dr. Haron Talks About How To Fix Missing Teeth or Frustrated Dentures Using TeethXpress
Solutions for a Complete Smile
Dentures have been used to replace missing teeth for many years and remain a popular option today. They look more natural than in the past and are easy to remove for cleaning. Implant supported dentures are anchored in your jaw with dental implants, making them a more secure option that also allows you to eat a greater selection of foods. Full mouth dental implants are the best overall choice for many patients, due to their durability, realistic appearance, and other benefits. Compare for yourself!

Three Steps to a Completely New Smile
Step 1: Personalized Consultation and Treatment Plan
Come in to see Dr. Haron for a personalized experience built around your dental function and health goals. He’ll assess the full state of your dentition using technology including intraoral imaging tools and our cone beam CT scanner, which takes 3D x-ray images of your mouth from every conceivable angle. Using these images, he can determine your suitability for full mouth dental implants or another tooth replacement option. With the information he captures, Dr. Haron can pre-plan your implant placement with extreme precision. This includes the creation of customized surgical guides, which eliminate any guesswork from the placement process. He’ll use your guides during the following visit.
Step 2: Precise Dental Implant Placement
Before your placement procedure, Dr. Haron will make you comfortable with anesthesia options including nitrous oxide and/or IV sedation, which puts you in a sleeplike state. After you’re sedated, he’ll perform any preparatory treatments, if needed, and then proceed with placement. Dr. Haron is certified to use the renowned TeethXpress® and Full Mouth Tooth Replacement® protocols, which make a full smile possible with a limited number of implants. He places your custom CHROME GuidedSMILE™ surgical guides over your gums. Preset holes in the guides align precisely with the positions where you need implants placed, and also help him place them into your jawbone at the correct angle for lasting fit and performance. Dr. Haron uses only high-quality implants from renowned manufacturers.
Finally, Dr. Haron may put provisional or temporary restorations on your implants to provide dental function and aesthetics while your surgical sites heal, depending upon your specific circumstances. To accelerate that process, he may use one of several advanced techniques that harness the natural healing power of your own body, including plasma-rich growth factors, bone morphogenic proteins, and plasma-rich fibrin.

Step 3: Your Smile and Your Life Restored
After placement of full mouth dental implants, your jaws may take three or more months to heal fully. During that time, your implants will permanently fuse with your jawbone. Once the process is complete, you’ll return to your restorative dentist to have your permanent restorations put in place. This is typically a zirconia fixed bridge. Zirconia is a type of ceramic but is as strong as titanium, so it will provide your smile with lasting beauty and performance. We work closely with your restorative dentist to ensure the dental implants we place fit with your zirconia restorations perfectly. Don’t have a restorative dentist yet? We’ll be happy to recommend one!

A New Smile You Can Afford
Dr. Haron is one of the few oral surgeons that accepts insurance—even Medicaid. He also works with a number of third-party financing companies that will enable you to divide your cost of care into manageable monthly payments. If you’re concerned that dental implants might be outside your budget, ask our team about our flexible payment options. Don’t let cost stand between you and a new smile!
